Case Study: Complete Brand Design

Mediums: Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
Size: Various sizes
Client: School Project, Corporate Identity

Continual Threads was developed as a result of Corporate Identity, a class in my second year. I created this brand from start to finish. I started with brand positioning, competitor analysis and customer profiling. I then moved on to name development, mood boards and logo sketches. After sketching, refining, testing and adjusting multiple logo options, I ended up with the identity for Continual Threads. The logo represents the company’s commitment to sustainability, along with the clean, minimal nature of the brand. Focused on circular fashion, the logo is inspired by a spool of thread, an item at the core of every piece of clothing. The brand identity features nautical-inspired stripes, a neutral colour palette, and fabric textures, which add to the organic and classic look. After the brand identity was developed, I created a variety of brand assets such as a comprehensive brand book, corporate letterheads, business cards, store signage, social media graphics and staff wear. After multiple rounds of revision and peer feedback, the completed company and brand was launched and presented to the class with a video and formal presentation, explaining the key brand characteristics, company goals and design solutions.
