It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Lauren Thiessen and I am a student RGD, studying Graphic Design at Niagara College. I have diverse experiences working as a Designer at a Real Estate Brokerage, a Student Associate Graphic Designer for Niagara College Marketing, and a Content Creator for YouTube and Instagram. My work experience has provided me with the relevant skills for creating engaging and modern content that tells a story.
Having started my education in Business Communications at Brock University, I have had the opportunity to build upon my skills in marketing and creative storytelling and apply them to my work as a Designer. I have comprehensive knowledge in the technical aspects of Adobe CC, and I apply these skills effectively using design theory and principles. I am exceptionally organized, and have proven my time-management skills by consistently meeting deadlines while delivering above-and-beyond work.
My work as a Graphic Designer puts a heavy focus on problem-solving and delivering the most innovative and effective solutions for clients. The diverse skills I've developed in design theory, analytics, print design, customer engagement and social media marketing have not only been proven as effective for those I've worked for, but have also set me apart from my peers and fellow designers.
